P.A.C.T.

P.A.C.T. (Parents and Children Together) is a four hour educational program designed for families to help their children cope with the difficulties of separation, divorce and family conflict. P.A.C.T. helps parents understand the effects of conflict, parental relationships and separation/divorce on children and provides information and strategies for effective parenting during periods of family change.

Sandcastles – Helping Children of Divorce Rebuild

Sandcastles is a one session, 3-1/2 hour interactive group experience for children of separation/divorce ages 6-17. Helpful discussion, art expression, games, role-playing and other methods focus on adjusting to changes, sharing and coping with feelings, problem solving and communication.

CoParent Training

CoParenting is the fundamental experience of family for a child when parents no longer live together. CoParent Training is a structured four week class which parents attend together. Parents will learn skills and strategies to build a businesslike coparenting relationship and to successfully communicate and cooperate as parents.

Active Parenting

Skill based training for parents of children 3-12; Teenagers; and Stepfamilies

Seminars and Training

Innovative educational seminars and training for the community and professionals.

All training is conducted by a team of licensed social workers, clinical professionals, addiction specialists, and art therapists with experience in group and trauma treatment. Approved curriculums consistent with evidence based practice are used for education and therapeutic groups.

Mediation

Mediation is a confidential, cooperative problem solving process, facilitated by a neutral professional, a mediator. The mediator is a trained professional who helps people in conflict assess issues and reach agreements that meet the needs of everyone involved. The mediator does not make decisions, but assists the participants in effective communication to help each party express their needs and wants in search of a fair agreement.
